Scheduled Taster Session 1: Make A Silver Ring
Make your own silver ring at this creative craft class in London.
No previous knowledge is required. I offer a 2.5 - 3 hour taster session offering a complete beginner the opportunity to make themselves a sterling silver ring. With 3 students I would expect the class to overrun by up to 20 -30 minutes.
Working directly with the metal and using nice thick round or flat wire, the student will be introduced to the fundamental techniques required in metal-smithing:- sawing, filing, annealing, soldering, texturing and polishing.
